[Important Notice Regarding Document Submission – Deadline: October 1st]

Hello,There are essential documents that must be submitted by October 1st. To help you prepare in advance, we are providing this notice ahead of time.

Regardless of whether you receive a scholarship or not, all students participating in the BK21 program are required to submit these documents.

Please submit your documents to the student representative of your section as listed below:

1. BK21 Participation Required Documents (Must Read)

This file explains all the documents you need to submit as a BK21 participant. Sample files are included. Please read carefully and follow the format exactly.

File name when submitting: BK21 사업 참여 제출서류_Your Name. Follow the exact same order as the sample and submit as a PDF file.

- Your visa/residence permit must be valid at least until February 28, 2026 (to cover the participation period for the second semester of 2025).

If your new visa is still being processed, please attach all of the following documents:

  * Certificate of Visa Issuance (Sample documents are provided in the BK21 Participation Required Documents.)

  * Application/Approval for Extension of Stay (Sample documents are provided in the BK21 Participation Required Documents.)

  * Written Statement Explaining the Reason for the Delay (attached it) - Don’t worry — Korean students will be happy to help you if you need any support  

- Important Notes:

  * The Certificate of National Health Insurance (4 Major Social Insurances) must be dated October 1st. → Make sure all four stamps are present!

  * The Certificate of Enrollment must also be dated October 1st.

  * Do not use phone camera photos for PDF submission (Low resolution may cause verification failure)

  * You must submit both the Certificate of Completion and the Certificate of Registration After Completion.(Both documents must be dated October 1st.) 

- In addition, you are required to submit a copy of your bank account, a consent form for the collection and use of personal information, and the BK21 participation agreement. (Please make sure to open and review the attached files.)

3. Pledge of Participation in BK21 FOUR Project (attached it)

4. Confirmation of Participation in Other Research Projects (attached it)

- If you are involved in any other research project, you must submit this form.
