1. Purpose: To enhance graduate students' research presentation skills & to provide opportunities to showcase their achievements.
2. Eligible Participants: Graduate students (including those enrolled after completing the coursework), early-career researchers (postdoctoral researchers, research professors)
3. How to Participate: Create a 1-page slide explains your thesis (for students graduating in February 2026) or your research published in an academic journal (only papers published in 2025 are eligible; for current students and early-career researchers; first authors only) The content should be easily understandable to the general public. Then, produce a presentation video of under 3 minutes and submit it along with the application form to mycoolevil@nate.com (Please include the subject line [1st Competition]). [Finalists are required to participate in the final presentation review]
※ Applicants who submit a 1-page slide and a 3-minutes presentation video) and attend the graduate school's extra-curricular program - special lecture ‘Research Presentation A to Z for Graduate Students’ & ‘1:1 Feedback Coaching; - will eligible to receive a participation support fee.
※ Finalists (Required for Presentation Competition Participants):
1) Participation in graduate extracurricular programs for a training for presentation methods is mandatory.
- Initial training: Attend an extracurricular program ‘Special lecture on presenation skills’
- Follow-up training: For Korean-language presentations, submit a draft script to the instructor and receive feedback.
*For English-languate presentations (including international participants), use the Graduate Writing Center at Chonnam National University Language Education Center for 1:1 coaching
