Notice on the Opening Ceremony of Chonnam National University G-LAMP (LAMP) Center

The Chonnam National University G-LAMP (LAMP) Center (hereinafter referred to as “G-LAMP”) will hold an Opening Ceremony of the G-LAMP Center to foster basic science researchers, enhance research capacity, and strengthen networking among industry, academia, and research institutes.
Accordingly, each college is requested to confirm whether the Dean will attend and reply via KORUS Mail by Wednesday, August 27, 2025.

1. Event Title: Opening Ceremony of Chonnam National University G-LAMP Center

2. Date & Time: Thursday, September 11, 2025, 11:00–13:00

3. Venue: Yongji Hall, Gwangju Bank Hall

4. Scale & Main Participants: Approximately 100 participants

   • Internal: President and Vice Presidents of Chonnam National University, Deans of 17 colleges, G-LAMP project faculty members and postdoctoral researchers, and other related personnel

   • External: Director of Talent Policy Planning, Ministry of Education; Director of Academic Research Policy Division; Director General and Team Leader, Academic Promotion Bureau, National Research Foundation of Korea; Chair of the G-LAMP Center Directors’ Council; Directors of 20 G-LAMP centers nationwide (including six universities to be selected this year); and related stakeholders

5. Main Program:

   • Introduction of Chonnam National University G-LAMP Center

   • Introduction of distinguished guests and congratulatory remarks

   • Plaque presentation ceremony and networking session
