2. 비자연장 신청은 해당 비자 만기일 4개월 전부터 가능합니다. 체류기간 만료일 전 미신청 시에는 벌금을 납부할 수 있습니다.
You can apply for a visa extension starting 4 months before your current visa expires. Failure to apply before the expiration date may result in a fine.


3. 비자연장 신청 시 하이코리아(www.hikorea.go.kr)를 통하여 '전자민원'을 신청하면 수수료가 감면*되고 처리 또한 빠릅니다.

When applying for a visa extension, submitting an 'E-Application' through Hi Korea (www.hikorea.go.kr) offers a reduced fee* and faster processing.

4. 비자연장 관련 대면접수는 전자민원 접수 불가 대상자*에 한합니다.
 *전자민원(온라인) 접수 불가 대상자: ①계절학기 포함하여 최근 1년 이내 평점이 2.0 미만인 학기가 있을 경우, ②전체 평균 평점이 2.0 미만인 경우, ③세금, 국민건강 보험료 등 미납자, ④사범처리 이력이 있는 경우, ⑤여권 재발급 후 미신고한 경우, ⑥외국인등록증 재발급이 필요한 경우(외국인등록증 분실, 뒷면 기재칸 부족 등)
In-person application for visa extension is restricted ONLY to those who are ineligible for E-Applications*.
*Ineligible individuals for E-Application (Online): ① Those with a GPA below 2.0 in any semester within the past year (including summer/winter sessions), ② Those with an overall cumulative GPA below 2.0, ③ Those with unpaid taxes, national health insurance premiums, etc., ④ Those with a history of immigration law violations, ⑤ Those who failed to report a passport reissuance, ⑥ Those who need a reissued Alien Registration Card (ARC) due to loss, insufficient space on the back, etc.


4-1. 전자민원 접수 불가 대상자 대상 대면접수는 2월초/8월초에 실시예정입니다.
상기 일정은 국제협력과 사정에 따라 변경될 수 있으며, 홈페이지 및 메일 안내를 확인하시기 바랍니다.
In-person applications for those ineligible for E-Applications are scheduled to take place in early February / early August.

5. 비자연장은 관할 출입국의 권한이며, 비자 연장 승인 및 외국인 등록증 발급에는 최소 6주-8주 이상 소요됩니다.
Visa extension is under the sole authority of the competent Immigration Office. It takes at least 6 to 8 weeks or more for visa extension approval and ARC issuance.


6. 국제협력과는 D-2 비자만 관리, 지원합니다. 이외 비자 변경 및 문의 관련해서는 1345에 하시기 바랍니다.
The Office of International Affairs only manages and supports D-2 visas. For any other visa changes and inquiries, please contact 1345.

7. 비자 연장 승인 전 출국 시 비자연장접수는 자동 취소됩니다.
If you leave the country before your visa extension is approved, your application will be automatically canceled.
