In the second semester of 2023, the Ministry of Economics' plan for mentoring new students in society (draft)

1. Project Name: Root Career Competency Enhancement Project 『Mentoring for the first-year employment of the Department of Economics in the second semester of 2023』

2. Business purpose

○ Provide economics students (retirement, completion students) with the opportunity to check the current status and preparations of the job market

○ Breaking away from the existing lecture-oriented lectures invited by experts, the program is planned to allow students who are new to society within five years of employment from our department to conduct special lectures and one-on-one interviews

○ It vividly conveys the application fields and acceptance reviews of graduates of our major to current students

3. Date and place

○ At one point: 11. to 12. 2023.

- Student application acceptance: November 13 (Mon) to November 17 (Fri) 2023

○ Place: Diameter 1-350 (CBA hole), Diameter 1-306, 1-308, 1-310

4. Number of participants

○ Lecturer: 6 people (3 people in November and 3 people in December)

○ Undergraduate students: Around 35 (senior first, limited to 6 undergraduate students per company)

5. Detailed schedule

1) field selection

- Private companies: NHN PAYCO, Hana Bank

- Public enterprises: Labor Welfare Corporation

2) Progress of the field

- Existing special lectures or job information sessions on employment focus on the introduction of the job of the relevant job group by company or field rather than the employment process of the employed

- Rather than introducing the field, we would like to provide special lectures and mentoring on the employment process to help actual students find employment

- Ensure the overlapping participation of students in the Department of Economics through appropriate distribution of instructors for each round so that students can access the fields they want

3) How to proceed with the event

- Undergraduate participation: Complete the application form and apply in advance

- How to proceed: Question and answer format through small-scale mentoring

- Question content: Present at least two questions to the speaker when filling out the application form

- In order to induce active participation, three first-come, first-served people and outstanding opinions are selected and gifticons are provided

• When receiving the application, the participating instructors are required to fill out the preliminary questions so that the participating instructors can prepare the answers to the questions in advance
