Our group attempts to understand nanomaterials for a variety of technological applications. Chemical synthesis plays a critical role in accessing the nanomaterials with desired morphology and microstructures. Our group is engaged in developing novel solution-based synthesis procedures to produce nanostructured metal oxides, alloys, and carbon. The nanomaterials synthesized are explored for electrochemical energy cinversion and storage (batteries, fuel cells, and solar cells) and electronic applications. |
