About us
The department of special education at Chonnam National University offers undergraduate and graduate programs in early childhood special education. We have produced professionals in an early childhood special education area such as outstanding teachers, consultants, and researchers. Our program focuses on kindergarteners and their families, understanding their disabilities and special needs, and providing evidence-based prospective students with opportunities to gain field and research experiences of preschoolers with special needs.
Career
Students who graduate in this program will receive the early childhood special education teacher certification. The graduates work as special education teachers in a kindergarten or disability rehabilitation center, consultants, researchers in a child research institute, and professors.
