Educational Objectives
The Department of Dental Education was established in 2005 by then-Dean Oh Won-man at the time of the transition from the College of Dentistry to the Graduate School of Dentistry, specifically to educate students entering graduate school after completing their four-year undergraduate studies. The educational goal of our university is to cultivate oral health professionals equipped with knowledge, skills, and a spirit of service, serving as medical practitioners capable of meeting the demands of the nation and local communities. Accordingly, the Department of Dental Education aims to provide education that enables the practical application of humanities disciplines—such as the history, culture, ethics, philosophy, and management of medicine—to help students understand the diverse interpersonal relationships that arise in the medical field, including those between patients and doctors or among colleagues.
