Educational Objectives
The Department of Periodontology aims to train medical professionals capable of providing proper diagnosis and treatment for periodontal and oral soft tissue diseases. Currently, the department provides training and clinical practice in procedures such as scaling, root surface treatment, periodontal flap surgery for advanced periodontal lesions, bone grafting and guided tissue regeneration, periodontoplasty including mucogingival surgery, aesthetic periodontal surgery, and intraosseous dental implantation. Furthermore, through collaborative treatment with other clinical dental disciplines, we are achieving successful treatment outcomes for complex patient cases.
